The following four tribal hamlets in Kinnakorai have been adopted by Good Shepherd International School as a part of the initiative of the Nilgiris District Police :-
                     THANYAKANDHI HAMLET
                     J J NAGAR
                    INDIRA NAGAR
                   KAMARAJ NAGAR
 The students and staff of Good Shepherd International School along with Mr. Murali Rambha, Superintendent of Police, Nilgiris District and his team visited the above four hamlets on Sunday, 6th August 2017.

 They distributed clothes, stationery items, sports equipment, house hold goods, bed sheets & pillows to over 100 families of these hamlets.

 Mr. Murali Rambha, Superintendent of Police of Nilgiris District who was present for the function expressed his gratitude to Dr. P.C. Thomas, Founder Principal and Chairman of Good Shepherd International School and all the staff and students for their continued support for the tribal village adoption programme and also in conducting this event very successfully.
