NASA SPACE CAMP 2011

For the fourth consecutive year our students will be attending a six-day NASA Space Camp programme at the United States Space and Rocket Centre, Hunstville, Alabama. This will be from 28 May to 03 June 2011, soon after the school closes for the Summer vacation. The group will comprise of approximately 25 boys and 25 girls from Class VI to Class XII. They will be accompanied by three chaperones / escorts. Good Shepherd Finishing School girls will also be a part of this team.

The group will also visit the Busch Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Epcot Centre at Orlando.

Space Camp at Huntsville was a thrilling educational experience for all the previous three trips in 2010, 2009 and 2008 for the students of Good Shepherd International School. Experiencing the simulation exercises in Space Missions, launching model rockets, watching 3D IMAX movies, being involved in varied hands-on activities, listening to talks delivered by astronauts, shopping in the gift shops and interacting with people of other nationalities, affirmed the fact that this trip was worth the mission. Space Camp simply makes your children fly beyond imagination!
