PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS

It is a day full of fun and frolic. To celebrate Children's Day ,the teachers of the primary school were dressed as students in school uniforms and conducted the assembly. The prayer was by Ms. Rajashree Hiremath; the flag hoisting and the bugle call was by the house mistress’ and the Heads of the Department. The news was read by Ms. Padmini Priya and the speech highlighting the importance of Children’s Day was delivered by Ms. Kiruba.

The children in the junior campus were entertained by a variety of programmes presented by the teachers. The fun fest (games and food counters) was organized by the members of staff and the Good Shepherd Finishing School students. The children had a gala time by letting their foot loose, playing to their hearts content, winning pizes, getting their face painted, applying mehendi and had their taste buds pampered with a palette of mouth watering goodies. The best dressed Prince and Princess were Shriman and Eve Saha. The dining hall had a festive look befitting the bright and colourful spirit of the Children’s Day.

CHILDREN’S DAY ASSEMBLY

A special School Assembly was held on 14th November, 2011 being Children’s Day. Teachers conducted the Assembly and entertainment programmes. The Teachers Choir sung the School song and School prayer song.

The News was read by Mr. J. Isravel Prabhakaran, Department of History.

This was followed by a short entertainment programme.

Assembly concluded with children’s day wishes and School Anthem.
