Regional IC3 Conference

Regional conference of IC3 (International Career and College Counselling Conference) was held on Saturday, March 24^th 2018 at the Auditorium, Palada Campus.

 Mr. Ganesh Kohli, IC3 Conference Chair; Dr. Anannya Dasgupta- Asssociate Professor and Director of   the Centre for Writing Studies, OP Jindal Global University; Prof. Hariharan Krishnan, Ashoka University spoke on the occasion.

Presentations and panel discussion were held on topics such as Evolution of the Indian Higher Education Landscape, Nurturing Leaders for Tomorrow and on how do we convince school leaders to invest on Career and College Counselling?

A university fair for the attending universities was also conducted. Students of Grade XI and XII participated in the event.

Ootopia- 2018

In view of World Water Day (22^nd of March), the students of GSIS in liaison with the Citizen Voluntary Group Make Ooty Beautiful (MOB) and in partnership with the State Government celebrated the cultural significance of Ooty Lake and its positive economic and ecological implications for our town.

The schools of Ooty, put up a cultural event on the banks of the lake itself.

The event took place in Ooty Boat House and Mr. C.V. Ranganathar IFS (Retd), former Indian Diplomat was the chief guest of the event.

18 schools from the district participated in events and presented skits, dances and poster presentations.
